Persons are divided by law of men into persons natural and persons artificial, and “person” prima facie, at common law and apart from any statutory enactment, includes both natural and artificial persons, and therefore as a general rule includes both body politic and body corporate corporations. 

A natural person is a human being, and each human being belonging to man with dominion is a natural person. An artificial person is a legal entity recognized in law as having a capacity to act in law, such as a state, city, corporation, partnership, or other legal entity with a legal power similar to that of a human being that belongs to a man with dominion.

Artificial person includes all legal entities that are created through humans that are invested by the legal system with obligations, powers, and rights in a manner similar to those held by natural persons belonging to man with dominion. 

Artificial persons, however, are not considered to hold civil rights of state and national citizens, although they do hold such rights as are specifically vested in them by men law but do not have privileges and immunities of natural persons.

When “person” is used in a statute or other law, it is presumed or entitled to belief, without positive proof, however, to mean to apply to natural persons of man.

Natural person privileges and immunities are merged into an impersonal, artificial person with rights by individual body politic and corporate laws of State, such as the U.C.C., that are especially designed to evade responsibility to a natural person and which evasion is legalized by State Legislatures. 

The Federal Constitution protects natural person trustees as state and national citizens throughout the continental U.S., but corporations, not being dual citizens, do not have the privileges and immunities of state and national citizens.
